Summary: Staff were very welcoming. Hotel foyer opulent but so cosy. Food was nice but very western, not Arabic. Loved the fish dishes. Good location, opposite the beach, near the Aquarium, Maritime Museum and Sharjah gold souk. Liked that the pools had a canopy as it created some privacy. The spa was closed.

Summary: older hotel -was a grand hotel at one time - has been renovated and is still very nice and clean -- room are big , bath is comfortable has a gig tub. hotel is a bit far from things but easy to use bus and metro as well as ferry from the aquarium near by -- best part was the tour shop in the lobby . Katrina set up some great tours for us with easy pick up at the hotel -allin all a great stay in sharjah /dubai --one bad this NO beer in sharjah and very little in Dubai !!!!!
